Suicide isn’t an easy thing to talk aout. But it doesn’t have to be scary, taboo, stigmatized, or hidden. The reality is Black women everywhere are feeling depressed, exhausted, unworthy, and like they aren’t meant to live. Those are big feelings and you shouldn’t have to feel them alone. That’s why we are here.

Hey Girl, it’s good to see you here.

Welcome

Wellness ‘N Color is a suicide prevention non-profit for Black women+ that uses non-clinical community-based programming to combat stigma, save lives, and show our community that they are not alone. We create shame-free spaces for Black women+ to be soft and vulnerable and share their stories without judgment.

 A Community Based Approach

Community is the center of everything we do. Black women+ have been told that we need to struggle alone, but we reject that idea. We are happier and healthier when we lean on each other. All of our programs leverage the power of community and remind you that you are not alone. You need community, and your community needs you.

“Make a difference about something other than yourselves.”
